PDF beading pattern · 3D beaded cat figurine, approx. 4 cm / 1.6 in · Beginner · Step-by-step diagrams · Instant download — no physical item shipped

Four centimetres of cat, made entirely from seed beads. No wire armature, no glue, no stuffing — the beadwork holds its own shape, which is what turns a pile of beads into something that sits upright on a shelf and stays there.

The proportions are what make it work: a round head, a round body, tiny triangular ears and a tail curled off to one side. The face is three beads — two black eyes and a pink nose — and that's all a cat needs.

It's a beginner pattern with proper diagrams, which is rarer in beadwork than it should be. Every round is drawn with its thread path, so you're never guessing where the needle goes next.

Small, cheap in materials, and finished in an evening or two. Also the kind of thing people make in a colour to match their own cat, which is exactly why it gets made more than once.

⚙️ How It Works

  1. Download instantly. Your PDF arrives the moment your order is confirmed — nothing is shipped.
  2. Pick your cat's colours. Two main colours and three beads for the face is all it takes.
  3. Follow the diagrams. Every round is drawn with its thread path, so there's no guessing.
  4. Shape and finish. Add the ears, legs and tail, weave in your thread, and stand it on the shelf.

Questions beaders ask

Which beads do I need to buy?
Every pattern opens with a full bead legend: exact Miyuki colour codes, the size (11/0, 15/0 or Delica), and how many of each colour you'll need — plus a little extra so you don't run short mid-row. Order the list, and you have everything.
I'm a complete beginner — can I do this?
Yes. Each pattern is written row by row in plain language, with a full-colour chart beside it, so you can follow the words, the picture, or both. Beginner patterns also cover how to start and finish your thread — the two things nobody explains.
Do I need a special printer?
No. Every chart prints clean on one page at home, on standard A4 or US Letter — no tiling, no taping. Colours are chosen to stay readable in black and white too, and the chart uses symbols as well as colour, so you can work from a greyscale print or straight from your screen.
How do I get my pattern after I buy?
Instantly. The moment your payment is confirmed, your files are ready to download — and we'll email you a download link so you always have access. No waiting, no shipping.
Can I sell what I make?
Yes — sell your finished pieces anywhere you like, in any quantity. We just ask that you don't share, resell, or redistribute the pattern files themselves.
What if I get stuck?
Email us and we'll get you back on track, usually within 24 hours. Send a photo of where you are in the chart — it's the fastest way for us to spot the row and put you right.
