PDF beading pattern · 3D beaded panda charm with bamboo stem · Beginner · Step-by-step diagrams · Instant download — no physical item shipped

The bamboo is what makes it. A panda on its own is a black-and-white sphere; a panda clutching a green bamboo stem is a scene, and it's the detail that makes people ask where you got it.

The stem is a separate small piece worked flat and attached across the body, so you get two patterns in one file — and once you've made the bamboo you can put it on anything.

The panda itself is beginner-level 3D beadwork: a white body with black ear patches, black eye patches, black arms and legs, worked in the round with no wire, no glue and no stuffing. The beadwork holds its own shape, so it stands up and keeps its form.

Three colours, an evening's work, and it clips onto a keyring.

⚙️ How It Works

  1. Download instantly. Your PDF arrives the moment your order is confirmed — nothing is shipped.
  2. Work the body in rounds. White body, black patches placed from the chart.
  3. Make the bamboo. A separate flat piece — quick, and reusable on other projects.
  4. Attach and finish. Fix the stem across the body, add the keyring, and it's done.

This is a digital PDF beading pattern — an instant download, not a finished charm and not a bead kit. No beads, findings or physical items will be shipped. All sales are final once the files have been downloaded. Personal use and small-scale handmade selling are welcome; the pattern file, photos and instructions may not be resold, shared or redistributed.

Safety note: this is a decorative charm containing small beads. It is not a toy and is not suitable for children under three.

Questions beaders ask

Which beads do I need to buy?
Every pattern opens with a full bead legend: exact Miyuki colour codes, the size (11/0, 15/0 or Delica), and how many of each colour you'll need — plus a little extra so you don't run short mid-row. Order the list, and you have everything.
I'm a complete beginner — can I do this?
Yes. Each pattern is written row by row in plain language, with a full-colour chart beside it, so you can follow the words, the picture, or both. Beginner patterns also cover how to start and finish your thread — the two things nobody explains.
Do I need a special printer?
No. Every chart prints clean on one page at home, on standard A4 or US Letter — no tiling, no taping. Colours are chosen to stay readable in black and white too, and the chart uses symbols as well as colour, so you can work from a greyscale print or straight from your screen.
How do I get my pattern after I buy?
Instantly. The moment your payment is confirmed, your files are ready to download — and we'll email you a download link so you always have access. No waiting, no shipping.
Can I sell what I make?
Yes — sell your finished pieces anywhere you like, in any quantity. We just ask that you don't share, resell, or redistribute the pattern files themselves.
What if I get stuck?
Email us and we'll get you back on track, usually within 24 hours. Send a photo of where you are in the chart — it's the fastest way for us to spot the row and put you right.
